Math Ain’t Patriotic: When Merit Makes Men Uncomfortable
Breaking news: The richest country in the world still can’t do basic math.
We say we want the “best person for the job” —
until that person is a woman.
Then suddenly, it’s about “likability,” “tone,” and “vibes.”
We’ve had centuries of unqualified men running countries into the ground,
but the moment a woman shows up with credentials, experience, and logic,
she becomes a threat — not a leader.
From Angela Merkel stabilizing Europe
to Jacinda Ardern leading New Zealand through crises with compassion,
the evidence is clear:
when women lead, nations thrive.
But in America, equality still comes with conditions.
We don’t reject female leadership because women can’t lead —
we reject it because once they do,
it will expose how unnecessary the myth of male superiority has always been.
